The Book Cover is Here for Big in Japan

: Here’s the art for the jacket cover!

After months of waiting and watching, it’s here! The jacket art for BIG IN JAPAN. I’m loving it. The minimalist design, the top-to-bottom, right-to-left of the kanji in the background, the silhouette of the sumo wrestler crouching, waiting to begin his fight. The red. The white. It’s so symbolic!

The design team at my publisher Jolly Fish Press just rocks the house. They’re awesomeness On toast.

I can’t wait for next month (the 28th) for the book launch where I finally get to hold copies of the book in my hot little hands.

So…in case I haven’t mentioned it enough, here’s the gist of BIG IN JAPAN: An obese nobody guy from Texas goes to Japan, where he accidentally becomes the first blond sumo wrestler.

How does the cover work for that? I think it’s FABULOUS. Again, many thanks to JFP!

I looove this art work for the jacket! However, they must make the sumo dude bigger! C’Mon, It’s “Big in Japan” but the image needs to be larger!!!!! Blow that bad boy up a bit. Seriously, DO IT!
